After rendering my bird design on two matching paddles, I wondered what the designs might look like as large mirror images on the front of a small building. Here, the designs have been colored with a blue texture and set as transparencies against a stock image of a board-and-batten shed. I thought the images transformed the building from a rather plain-looking building to something resembling a small lodge building that might be found on the Pacific Northwest. Rendering the images at such size in real life would not be a complicated issue. Large black-and-white versions of the bird design could be printed on sheets of vinyl, then sketched and duplicated in exact detail with weather-resistant paints (which, as an application method, would be extremely quick and cost-effective for the average homeowner).
